Waterloo 1815 Battle Map
This map contains the environs of the Waterloo battlefield as depicted in the Ferraris maps (1770-1774). When printed at optimal size this map will be approximately 28" x 26", so printing it may require some cropping or re-sizing depending on the sort of printer you have available. By cropping out some space at the bottom you should be able to get it to fit onto a 36" x 24" poster, which is recommended. You may be able to print it larger and still have a sharp image. You should speak with a professional printer before greatly adjusting the size to make sure that the image will not be too blurry for your purposes.
At 28" x 26" this map will be scaled to 1" = 330m. This map is designed to allow a war-gamer to recreate the battle at the brigade level, where brigade sized elements can take up from 20mm to 25mm of frontage on the map.
